In the late 1800’s in Russia, Pavel began learning his family’s way of making yogurt, using their original recipe. Today, we still produce yogurt using the same small batch, artisanal process that he was taught over a century ago.

All of the milk we use in our line of yogurt products is locally sourced from farms in Northern California. All Pavel’s products are minimally processed and feature a very simple ingredient list, all gluten-free.

We never use preservatives, emulsifiers or anything artificial, which is why Pavel’s has a very mild taste, gentle consistency and delicate mouthfeel. It is similar to Old World handmade yogurts found in Eastern Europe, the Mediterranean and India.
